Reading Strategy

reading typeを把握する。

essay型
essayはintroductionがあり、body、conlcusionと進む。main ideaをつかむためには、最後のconclusionが極めて重要。

news型
newsははじめにすべてが書かれている。general ideaをより詳細に細かく書きながらもideaはrepeatしている。

blended型
introductionがあり、そこからexplanationが進むが、ideaもどんどん広がっていったり、変容したりしていく。

基本的なアプローチ
1.survey
何ページ？どのくらいのトピックス量？
ヘッドライン、図表には何が書かれている？
何型のreadingなのか？
2.skim make questions
don't read, think!
3.read, recite, review
  take notes
